when I type in post code on sat nav, number 1 wont play, everything else seems ok, tried reboot power,no joy sd card in and out,no joy, anybody got ideas, am i missing something,or not go anywhere with a number one in the post code..its really annoying..

Sounds like a faulty digitiser.

If it's under warranty get it booked in, otherwise it's fairly cheap and simple to fix. Full instructions and links to parts are in the thread I've linked above.

Hi all, i have a 2017 T6 Kombi Highline which is giving me issues with the infotainment unit. On the Sat nav the map shows up with pointer showing correct location but when i try to enter a destination or adjust anything else on the screen nothing happens. Also similar problem with the radio it work's fine but very difficult to change stations using the touch screen.
Have tried a reset with the on/off button but still the same. Is it worth while updating the SD card or is the unit toasted ? Thanks for any advice

New update re 1st post now none of the infotainment buttons on unit working apart from the Sat Nav showing map only, Radio is playing ok but no access to screen or channels / info

Have a read through this thread. Helped me to remove some dead spots and an unresponsive screen.

Thanks for the intresting info on that thread, seems like it's a common fault with VW like the EGR valve and headlights. Not going to replace with a VW unit at these prices will probably get something else.
Cheers

Fixed mine with a £20 touch screen off eBay. Thought I had nothing to lose before spending £100s on a new unit. Works fine now. The Boss even let me buy a download to enable Android Auto and voice commands
