Hello everyone I’m looking to purchase a t6 and have narrowed it down to two.
One is a highline with barn doors and air con heated screen multi steering wheel etc.
The other has twin sliding doors tailgate and is a trend line with no air con.
The highline has 44 on the clock where as the trend line has double the mileage but is 3k cheaper,so the question is are the extras on the highline worth the extra money?
both have fsh and are roughly the same age.
Any thoughts please?
Thanks for letting me join

The Highline is always going to hold stronger residual values, and be a more desirable choice.

Assuming you’ll be converting? Obviously, the HL has a lot more goodies that you’ll struggle to upgrade to with a SL. The rest is choices....
Twin sliders in a conversion can be a pain but a lot have them fitted..
It’s always a tailgate for me but again barn door are popular too..

Advice? Don’t compromise too much when looking for the van you want. There are loads out there but be patient. Guaranteed, you’ll buy one, then the right van will appear

Highline, Aircon  - shame its barn doors but personal choice.

I would consider without, and did. It's just not hot enough in this country but that's my 2p worth.
It’s a personal decision, to me it’s absolutely hot enough in this country to need it and mine is on 365 days a year. The lack of humidity and the cooling effect make driving so much less fatiguing for me. But I also know people who are always cold and could easily get away without having it, you just need to establish what type of temperature tolerance you have.

Yes, it's horses for courses. In our camper van in the South of France of last year we would have roasted without it, and it got used a fair bit last summer in the UK. It's also very useful at all times of the year for demisting.
