Hello and Help

Hi all, I have a T6 van I'm in the process of converting to a camper so the hubby and I, plus mutt, can go off exploring the UK countryside and hopefully later Europe. It's been sound deadened/insulated and carpeted. Bench seats have been fitted and now we're about to fit the kitchen pod and sink/hob unit but would like to have the top cut out by someone who's a professional. Have rang a couple of local kitchen fitters but they're not interested. Anyone around the NG10 area (Long Eaton, Nottingham, Derby) know of a company/person who could do this for me.

Welcome to the forum, give it some serious thought as to if you really want a hob in your van, I have one in mine (came supplied) but have never used it as I don't want the van smelling of whatever culinary creation I've been conjuring up, I tend to do all cooking/boiling of water outside on a portable stove for convenience.
I know it's a personal thing, horses for courses n all that.

Thanks for the replies guys. Already have the kitchen pod and sink/hob unit. Cuffy, I'm taking a portable burner too for cooking outside but wanted the option of one inside for making a cuppa if we only stay somewhere one night and don't set up a tent at the side and it's raining. Most conversion places aren't interested in small one off jobs and only take on full conversions.
