Cheers, I’ve gone back to a stock set of Clayton’s for now. Will add a for sale post later tonight.I bet you'll sell those alloys on here @Jon Sealey ! Welcome to the Forum! What are you looking at swapping them with?
Too wide, too tall, ( I’m only a short arse and needed a step ladder to get in) plus nearly got stuck in a grass field so going to be a more all terrain tyre and rim combo. That’ll be once the conversion has been completed.Obviously they aren't worth much(!) I'll have them for that! What was it you didn't like about the 20's?
Make me an offer if you want em, all the bolts, spigot rings spacers, to fit included and a locking wheel nut too.Obviously they aren't worth much(!) I'll have them for that! What was it you didn't like about the 20's?
With correctly sized tyres, the height won't materially change with 17s....too tall, ( I’m only a short arse and needed a step ladder to get in)
OK, so they may be a bit bigger!!!
Just a littleOK, so they may be a bit bigger!!!
You just need handles on the A-pillar, potentially step ladders...Just a little

If this weren't true your speedo and gearing would be waaaay out. With correctly sized tyres, the height won't materially change with 17s.
My speedo was about 3mph I believe. Dont get me wrong they look great but just not practical for me.If this weren't true your speedo and gearing would be waaaay out.
Not trying to persuade you otherwise - just trying to avoid you expecting the height to differ between 20s and 17s. With correctly sized tyres any height change will be imperceptible. My speedo was about 3mph I believe. Dont get me wrong they look great but just not practical for me.
275/40 20. They are against 16’’ Clayton’s.I have to say though, those RRs look ENORMOUS - you sure they're 20s? What size tyres they got on?
