Hi all - have joined as the missus and I are contemplating getting a van to have some occasional trips away now the kids are older - don't really see us buying a brand new van, but since I've been looking, there's a million options and pitfalls it seems.
We've also got a Great Dane, so need to figure out a way to keep her safe while travelling too.
We're off to the Motorhome show in Oct to get an idea of some of the layouts and what might suit us, but thinking along the lines of a LWB, pop top with 4 seats (so the kids can come if they want), and I guess not the T28. Having come from a world of Land Rovers, the 4 Motion version appeals, but also wonder whether it's just something else to go wrong!
Anyway, plenty to read up on, and I'm sure I'll have questions!
