Okay I have tried to find this issue on search I promise. I have a clacking noise on vehicle vibration - bumps, road imperfections and such. Sound comes from the rear interior.

It wasn't there when I got the van, i removed bulkhead, rear racking, flooring, panels and tie down points. Stripped it bare.

Then the clacking noise.

I thought it was the mechansim for the rear barn door lock assembly so I secured it, not that.

I thought it was the earth point that is loose in the rear O/S quarter so secured it. Nope

Then I installed my temporary bed set up and it stopped.

6 months no clack

I removed the temp bed set up and it's back...

I feel like it may be a worn roller for the sliding door maybe. I just don't understand why it goes when the back is partially laden (with the bed set up Installed)

I don't see how it would be the suspension...

side panels perhaps?
Or is it just the bed masking the noise - Our van is much quieter with bed, mattress etc installed just because noises don't echo around as much.

I have had the stepson in the back and the clacking noise unfortnately seems to be eminating in the locality of the suspension mounts just in from the rear wheel arches.

As it's not a clunk and more of a clack I'm assuming as it's both sides it's likely the rear anti roll bar bushes... might have to get it up on axle stands for a look

I wonder if it's something I can do...
