I am a complete newbie to this forum and cars in general, so apologies in advance if my question is trivial and already answered a million times.
I drive a VW California 2007 2,5 Tdi Aut, 174 for daily purposes, weekend rides on dirt roads and longer vacations on free/highways.
I love the car. Driving on freeways is pretty good, but the suspension when driving on speed bumps (we have many where I live), dirt roads etc. is killing me. In weak moments I have been considering replacing the car - which I know I will deeply regret.
So I am asking on behalf of my resident mechanic in Denmark, who would appreciate any advice on how to get the best possible set up in terms of suspension, springs, lift, tyres, wheels etc. based on your experience.
