I bought my van 6 weeks ago but has only been used for 2 weeks in this period as I work away. Driving it today back from seeing my parents there was a sudden shudder / braking motion that caused the left side of the bumper/grills to blow off outwards. I managed to recover the pieces but now have a dripping from what I think is the washer fluid and the left side day running light is no longer working. I can only explain the feeling as a build up of pressure release or that I had hit something which was not the case.
I have attached some photos, if anyone can give me some insight to explain what may happened then it would be much appreciated.
