Just thought I'd say hello to the Forum.

Based in East Lancs - Purchased a 2020 T6 'Edition' before Christmas - Superb condition and perfect for our camper conversion project.
We have been looking for many months - missed a few of opportunities - and this one appeared less than ten miles away at a local garage with a good reputation.

It has all the bells and we wanted - DSG, reversing camera etc etc etc - which has saved much head scratching and retro fitting - and a tad over 30k miles on the clock.

Conversion progress is ticking along nicely - heater fitted - a bonus when working at near freezing temperatures - windows and (most) insulation installed - and now playing with the electrics.

A bit of a steep learning curve tbh - the last cars I ever worked on were Morris Minors !! - so - some of this has been a bit daunting.

Looking forward to learning more from everyone - and hopefully contributing where I can

Cheers
Mike

Welcome to the forum. Got any pics to share (of the van or the Morris Minor)?

Just a few pics after we'd put the windows in -
I Like the colour - it's quite anonymous when parked up - a bit more stealthy
Only other external changes since this are an EHU socket - it's black - hardly noticeable - but I'll spray it to match the van colour when we get a couple of dry days

Wish I had some photos of the Moggies to hand - a 1958 and a 1967 - I wish I still had them - easy to fix with a couple of wrenches and a hammer ! !

Cheers
Mike

Welcome to the Forum @mike_tatt . You won't get the true ownership experience of a T6 with those non-irrigation side windows though! A wise move perhaps methinks!

That's exactly what I'm after !!
Well done on finding it, really nice Edition
It took a while to find it - and we struck lucky - It belonged to the garage owners uncle - and they had done all the servicing for the last three years - and it's been really cared for and not abused.

Was prepared to wait for the right one - as I was made redundo - no tears - just cheers from me :) and have decided to take early retirement - so realistically have to get it right - otherwise I'll have to get another job to buy a different one - and that ain't going to happen.
