Hi Newbie Here

i have just bought a high line kombi SWB and will be attempting a mild conversion, so will have loads of questions !!
Looking forward to everyone’s advice

Hi ,
The van is new , and I have only had it a few weeks but I have managed to insulate and fully carpet all of the inside plus roof lights
and speakers
Tow bar going on next and then looking at a full width RIB seat ( kombi bench is too close to front seats)
After maybe some pods - no plans to touch the roof (yet !)
Also need to do something with headlights - like candles in jam jars !

Understand what you are saying , but I think I will do the RIB seat next.
I want it to be full width , mounted as far forward as possible to give me the maximum “boot space “
But enough room in front for a table and for the front 2 captains seats to swivel - if that makes sense
I need to find a supplier now who can match the front seat fabric

You won't need to match after you've read the leather seats thread!!

Mmmmmm . See what you mean - l knew this would start getting more expensive

Who knows of a good supplier / manufacturer for the RIB seat ?

I watched a guy on YouTube fitting a RIB seat and the fixings looked very let’s say “homemade” I am sure something with seat belts attached need to be a bit more considered .

Thanks

Are you looking at a real RIB bed or just rock n roll frames off eBay?

Welcome to the forum, have a look at the Kiravans RIB seat kit.
Certified RIB seat installation system by Kiravans
They also do group / bulk orders of Rib seats with a future forecast delivery date direct from the RIB factory. The fitting kit comes with a certificate to show crash testing awards.

Sorry for slow response - been away

I will look at Kiravans , I assume they will fit the seat where you want it ( within limitations )
I don’t want a rock n roll bed

Cheers
Andy
