Hi to you all !
I'm looking for a place where I can find trustable people who know what they are talking about... maybe this is the place ? !

I'm currently swapping from a T6 to a Caravelle 6.1... and I'm wondering if I can use the keyword T6.1 in my research to look for infos about my caravelle 6.1 or if it is 2 completly different cars ?
seams like there isnt as much content about the Caravelle on the internet.

Also, does anyone know a good french shop for parts ?

Try Multivan - VW called it that in some countries.

or if it is 2 completly different cars ?

Apart from a few cosmetic tweaks they're pretty much the same.

T5 > T5.1 = facelift
T5.1 > T6 = some quite large fundamental differences
T6 > T6.1 = facelift
T7 = pile of **** Ford Transit!

thanks a lot for your answers ! maybe it's the fault of being in France but I find it hard sourcing a driver seat for example. my first upgrade would be to swap the bench for the driver seat and buy myself a new driver seat "captain". where to source all this stuff ? might be expensive to import it all from UK...

I have a feeling that front seats are 'handed' i.e. only the driver's seat can go on the driver's side and you will need to swap the bench for a passenger 'captain' seat.

Have a search on for sale sections here and I have no doubt there will be some in France as well as UK!!

They will be handed yes, due to seatbelt buckles I think

Hi guys, thanks for your replies.

Just come back from my Volkswagen garage... I told them I wanted to put a single captain seat for the passenger and I would like it to be heated... seems like its not gonna be that easy as the guy told me the wiring will not be there neither the calculator for heating... what do you guys think ? feel like I'm starting a big difficult quest, I love it !
