Does anyone know of a fix for high beam not coming on when in locked position?

The bulbs work fine when pulling back on the lever to “flash someone” but dont come on when pushing the lever forward to keep the high beam on?
Thanks

Do you have high beam assist?

did you find a solution, I have the same issues

Stalk or dodgy relay
What kind of relay will it be, and where will it be located on the electrical diagram?
What will be the OEM of this part, I think it will be Switch Combination.
Will the one from Ebay fit and be correct?

Have you replaced the stalk at any point?

I believe I read in a recent thread that there are both momentary and latching versions of the stalk and the BCM can be coded for either, but if it's coded for latching and it's physical a momentary it would cause the symptoms you have.

Found it:

I'm assuming from the link you have a T6 - and as a VIP Member this should help - relay type is in brackets after the location:

Note though that glancing through the T6 H4 and H7 current flow diagrams I don't see an explicit relay noted, just the J519 on board supply unit

The left lever, when I pull it towards me, turns on Flesh High Beam and that's ok
When I push the lever, the High beam should turn on and stay lit until I pull the lever towards me again.
I don't hear any clicking noise like I had in other cars. (is this correct operation)
There are days when everything works fine, other times I try and it doesn't work.
I noticed that when it doesn't work, when I push the lever forward in a certain lever position (maybe halfway), the High beam turns on (turns on flesh), but it doesn't turn on permanently.
When the lever is pushed forward, it does not stay in this position, it always returns to its pre-use position (is this the correct operation)

Which is correct depends on what type of stalk you have, but if it sometimes works and some times does not it does sound like a worn or failing contact in the stalk.

I know in my Volvo you could take the switch apart and clean the contacts in some cases, I don't know if this is possible on a T6.

The best way of checking the part is to get the cover off and look for the existing part number on the one fitted to your van
