High pressure fuel pump question

Hi all,

T6 High pressure fuel pump failure,

Do the Delphi pumps fail as catastrophicly as the Bosch units and take out the whole fuel system and injectors with metal swarf?

or are the Delphi HPFP’s generally better/more reliable?

Any HPFP failure will destroy the injectors.
