Hill Descent Control - retrofit.
Any recommendations for someone to do a HDC retrofit on a T6.1 Ocean around London / the south east? It’s a mighty handy function and I took a pre specced Cali so didn’t have any choice in the matter . Thanks Stu Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you get the hill decent fitted in the end and if so where please?
I am waiting for Advanced in car Technologies Poole, Bournemouth, Dorset, to reply in writing. They were spoken to by phone and in principle were in agreement but legally I guess they need to check to avoid potential problems interferences with other systems and so on. It is connected to the brakes after all so safety will be paramount. It might be according to them, the possibility that they need to converse with the manufactures. At the moment of applying their operating system was being attended to so I had to make my request by form from their web site. Giving vehicle details and so on. As it is the week end I do not expect hear until Monday or Tuesday. I will be champing at the bit then.
I will let people know as it progresses and ultimately when it is has been done. i will also give a report. I have never used them before but i have social connections in the area which makes it more convenient than other outlets that are miles out of my way. Well, living where I do, everything is miles away so best 2 birds one stone as they say. I know an outlet that does the T6.1 and c have gone there. However just because the T6.1 is done, does it not automatically follow that the T6 is just tick box arrangement. in any case they have to protect me the general public and them self's just in case. Very sensible too, I may add!

I’ve done this with the combined help of the forum. All the symbols light up as they should, just need to try it out now.

Traction Control - ESC/ASR & HDA switch retrofit
ABS byte 18 bit 0 ==> "1"byte 18 bit 1 ==> "1" Thanks for your help! Ok so I’ve set these, and also reset that Gateway setting back to the original value. No errors this time, so I’m going to wire into the ABS connector next.
