So, I've cobbled together a frame and overlapping door for under the RIB bed but am confused about what type of hinge I need for the door to be hung from the top......and where it should be screwed ie face, rear etc....
Any tips?

How big is the aperture behind the door?
Do you want it top or bottom hung?
If your struggling pop over to see me,. We can suss it out and screwfix and toolstation are round the corner mate if I’ve not got the stuff you need.

Cheers Dave, hinges at the top. Frame is like a football goal ie no bottom.....the door overlaps the aperture by about an inch or so around the frame.....BTW I'm no carpenter !

It’s as well I am then, simple piano hinge will do, but it won’t hold open. If we can hang on the bottom it can lay on the floor when open.
I’ve got some hinges of various kinds and a few catches give me a shout if you need them. Or some help.

Could I screw the hinges into the floor ? Then have magnetic catches around the frame ? It would lay flat then.....

Hinge on the floor and 2 x of them pop catch handles / buttons to hold it closed when driving?
