We're across in Suffolk for a few days as it's supposed to be dry but forgot to check temperatures and this was the roof this morning in Northampton.
While it's not as cold here at the campsite I'm wondering if I should have brought shorts?
It's lovely, famous last words.
We had a good sprinkling of the icy stuff over here too. I'm off to the peaks in a few weeks for a break so I'll be glad of Great Uncle Webasto and his magic heater.
Bit of a cop out here as while we do have Auntie Webasto and Randy Roamer the unfeasibly large leisure battery man too we're actually using the site hooker up and squeezing as much juice out of that baby into our 2kw fan heater and electric blanket combo.
Another chilly one tonight in Suffolk but maybe not as cold as last night @Stay Frosty (I guess it IS your time of the year?! )....we were out in the cold most of the evening last night, frost underfoot, in ore of the Aurora.....no, not my skyline roof!!
We may be lucky again tonight. Where in suffolk are you staying Frosty?
@Ricardo T Kissingland, (I'm feeling lucky) just below Pakefield, Lowestoft, Yarmouth, Hell.
Thing is I've just been out washing our dinner plates and went for a wee after and turns out I've turned into a lady boy, it is, as you alluded, bloody freezing but also dark out there.
When I've thawed out we'll try for some of that northern lights action cheers!.
It does get better south of Kissing-land (Cove Hithe is nice for a walk.)and further south. But then North of Your-mouth is nice too! Have a great time!
Blimey must be seeding the clouds here with sleepy dust as despite child sized bladder managed to wake up at 8:45!
Must say the weather has changed a bit and it's currently dry, dull and overcast however for those thinking of beefing up their off grid capabilities...
Yep that's a mighty 31.5 watts going into the battery on top of any power going out to the fridge and lights, it's the future, it's here already... hang on, bugger, the fridge wasn't going and now is so we're in a 10.5 watt deficit... and now back to 36.6 watts in, proper roller coaster ride here today, catching the bus to Lowestoft in a minute too.
