got to remove the under side plastic covers and drop the fuel tank to fit pickup pipe, and cut holes out in the floor under seat for pipes, pre wired looms so that's straight forward if you get the prper designated t6 one not universal kit.
I got a friend to fit mine for £150 as didn't have the time to do it.
think most converters charge £300 to fit

I bought one off ebay £600 which was a universal kit. if you Google eberspacher d2 t5 should come up with local stockists I know of Jones do them

Hi I have just brought an Eberspacher Airtronic D2L Volkswagen VW T6 Internally Mounted Campervan Diesel Heater from Jackson Leisure.
I have a large box of parts and very little instructions, I have obviously watched many videos and have found some guides for external fitment underneath the bus.
However I am struggling to find any instructions and or pictures of the internal mounting under the drivers seat using the supplied mountain plate.
It appears I need to drill a five inch hole in the floor with four fixing holes for the mounting plate but there are no dimensions to work out where.
Is this meant to be trial and error? Does anyone have any dimension, instruction, and or pictures that would save me some time.

Why fit it inside?
VW fit the very similar unit under the floor where it uses pare space and makes less noise inside the van to name just two advantages.
Fitting below the floor is reasonably simple with most of the challenges being the same as for fitting inside and existing plastic shields are adequate to protect the unit from the elements.
