but also 3 females in the house (4 if you count the dog) My kids are 40, 16, and 12 and I can only say that Tony Blair was wrong! Things don't get better. (Bose sound cancelling earphones do the trick for me) but now people can understand why I polish my van so many times....

@Tourershine the 13 year old is part time, weekends only, don’t think I could cope full time with her...make up, fashion, phones , they grow up too fast nowadays. Another 15 years when the little one grows up and I’ll be free again.

My wife would not be impressed with that last part. She gives me that 'look' when I refer to the kids flying the nest as us being Free to live our lives again.
And the part about them growing up too fast nowadays, only shows our age.
Saying all that, nothing is more impressive to a guy of our age, than a lady 14 years your junior, for that mate you get
I have to feel happy now as I'm not the only GOM on here that is in his 60's and spent his retirement money on a T6 nor the only one with a wife younger than him
Lol, same here, my missus is 13 years younger than me but she is definitely the sensible mature grown up

Well. I had been craving for a VW van that at the time was named Eurovan. Now it is Transporter and I just got mine, 2018 model this past February. I am 63 years old.
71 Just bought our first transporter a 2021 T6.1 Kombi, after many years motorhoming quite fit and still motor biking too.
