How to unlock Leisuredrive Vivante window?

Have acquired a Leisuredrive Vivante and cannot work out how to open the windows with the internal devices shown in the image? Am wondering if they are security devices to prevent the user opening the windows? Am I meant to use a type of Allen key? Sorry to appear a bit of an idiot!! I will contact LD if I cannot solve it

Push on the red bit where the x is to release the latch and then slide the window in the direction of the blue arrow (whilst keeping the red bit pushed in).

If it doesn’t slide, push the red bit a bit harder and keep trying.

Thanks so much. That worked but they are still very hard to slide. Am I OK to lubricate where the window runs. Don't want to harm anything.

As @WillWillWill says above, the button can be quite resistant to a push if you're leaning over at full stretch while doing something else.
Try a bit of silicon spray polish, the resistance will include the brushpile draft excluder on the outside.
