I poped our Stitches and Steel Bawdsey last Friday in the heat as well. What is needed(invention) is a plug-in pressure relief valve that you put in place of the pipe after inflating.
I have a spare pipe end just need to find a 5psi relief valve.

I just remembered I have a set of adjustable tyre deflators (for desert driving) that will do the job.

Just ordered one of theses and will fit my tyre deflator to it to regulate the pressure.

Pretty sure a HR valve won't fit a Vango airbeam, they look similar but annoyingly I think Vango use some kind of propriety design.

we use one of these . . .

Kampa / Dometic Gale 12v air pump.

it has 6x adapters and has worked on everything weve thrown at it so far.

Kamper tent, coleman, Vango etc etc etc

Please note that this does not come with an Adapter that is suitable for Vango Awnings. ;)

does this one work with Vango stuff ?

Well I've got an exact copy of that inflator, but it's branded Seamax and the valves it came with didn't work on my Vango Galli. I use it to blow up my sup which it does well, but it would pop an Airbeam if you set the psi too high.

These are the valve connectors for my awning and they are really flimsy so I've got two spares just in case of emergency.

That looks the same as my pump and the connector on the left is the Airspeed fitting. They look similar to sup connectors but they aren't, I snapped mine off trying to force it to fit.

Sooo true, I've got a garage half full of camping gear and the other half full of caravan gear.
That’s why I try to keep off campsites, so many people trying to bring their home to a patch of grass rather than camping.

Does anyone know if any of these adaptors above would fit both the Stitches and Steel Bawdsley Inflatable awning and the Vango Kela V Low Inflatable Awning 2021 so don't have to take two pumps on board when alternating between them on a trip? Hope it's OK to ask this question in this older thread.

I have a pump with different adapters in a little kit as the S&S is the same as a Red Paddle SUP but different to my Kampa Awning.
