Insulation around earthing cables?

When insulating the rear of the van with recycled loft insulation (similar to this) what's the best thing to do around the rear light cables and and the earthing cable which is attached to the cross beam on each side of the van?

Logic says I'm packing insulation arount the whole van which is no differnt to the earthing point cable, but the cautious said of me thinks I should avoid this area with this insulation incase it makes the wires warm or the lights get hot?

Can anyone knowledgeable advise on this please? I’ve covered all cables that run through insulation using conduit. But want to be sure.

Don't worry about it, modern vehicles are tested to the limit in all sorts of temperatures.

If a vehicle cable is getting warm it’s undersized, damaged or carrying too much current. If it’s OEM equipment it won’t be an issue.
