Integrated Triple R lazer lamps, have we an alternative?

Hello all, new but not new to the forum, always just creeped at at distance.

I'd love some lazer integrated grill lamps but I cannot justify the price tag.

Has anyone found an alternative dupe? or fitting kit, granted it likely won't be the same performance however vast majority of people want to install them for an atheistic rather than practicality.

Thoughts and suggestions welcomed

No idea I’m 50:50 on that one myself awaiting more info.
Hi Milky - did you ever make a decision on these? They look pretty good but understand your concerns on lack of detail on fitting. I'm also intrigued the spec includes a remote keyfob?

Hi, Yes and no. No I have not bought yet. Although on other brands forums they seem happy ie Rangers etc.

And Yes I dug a little deeper, they all come with remote to activate from outside. these are not wired into main beam like "Lazers" I suppose you could with an aftermarket loom or tweak there looms to take signal like lazers do with not much effort
They are wired to a switch on the inside. IE independent.

have not bought any as yet. I was hoping they'd be at some shows this year to see in person

Let me know

I have the lazers and believe me, they're amazing. Ok they're a lot of money but I wouldn't waste money on anything not proven for performance. When you see the performance you'd agree they are good value for money. They last forever, can be swapped from vehicle to vehicle and if all else fails, they sell 2nd hand for almost what you pay new

I had the Lazers in my basket at Xmas. It’s the security side that’s stopped me . The old T20 screw and pull made me uneasy. lol

An alarm and a dab of Sika as blanking plug make that a much harder proposition.

An alarm with a proximity function that detects ne'er do wells lurking close to the vehicle, or a radio cable loop.

I wonder if when cutting the grill one was careful could the removed grill part be replaced if the lamps where recessed appropriately? These lamps are for night use and out of town could they be disguised if grill mounted.

I think my plan once weathers better is to fit one too the crash bar. Behind lower grill.

I am considering Lazer something it would be great if it would fit between the headlamps. Thing is, it might be a little to long I am not quite sure still procrastinating could then if the case behind the lower grill but I think that I would like to remove the grill part in front of the lamp and put it back if parked in a town.

Something like one these

Or if not then something less complex

Another mounting option could be some sort of fast dismount and disconnection for security purposes.

What i would like to know is the upper grill on a 2019 Caravelle easy to remove and are they available without the VW Badge because that would also get in the way!

I saw these shorter versions at Busfest. There were also some mounted behind the lower grill that unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of.

Cannae be that hard... There's a kit for the transit custom which works fine behind the ford raptor grille. (For all you lovers out there :inlove: )
