Interior light fuse

Hi I’m new to this so bear with me
I’ve fitted some foot well lighting and for some reason when I was putting all the dash back when I plugged the glove box light in it blew the fuse to the interior lighting , not so bad but I have no ignition it it’s all dead the only things that work are the stereo and hazards

Did you pull a few fuses looking for the one that was blown?

Yes your right
the bad thing is the other half suggested it to me that I put the fuses back in the wrong hole

All working now silly me put the 10A rear wiper fuse back in the wrong hole what a d__k
I was going to suggest one had gone back in the wrong place. It’s easy done, you’re not the first

Lads,

Having an issue with my interior lights, stopped working. I have a T6 , a dealer fitted some LED lights in the back and the worked fine. Only recently they stopped working as well as 1 of the OEM rear interior lights stopped.

Have a little look a the fuses and they look fine.

But after looking at the fuses now all the interior lights don’t work and a light is on the dash

This is a photo of my fuses. Can anyone see if I’ve put one back in the wrong place?

I've a T6 Euro5 van and I've been adding some extra LED lights in the rear (I had some already). I've daisy linked another couple of lights using some old speaker wire.

Unfortunately as I cut through the twin cable, the cutters made connection and blew the fuse. I've checked the 7.5A fuse in the central fuse box and it's not blown. Am I looking at the wrong fuse or do I need to reset the BMC? I've lost all interior light now :(

Do your rear lights still work as these are fed from the same circuit ?

First thing i would try would be a battery disconnect followed by a fault scan

If the above draws a blank then you may have blown the relay that controls the circuit (which is bad as its inside the BCM)

Thanks Pauly, I suspected the same.
None of the interior lights work at the moment, including the map/spot lights in the front w8 light. I'll try the battery disconnect tomorrow and then scan it.

I meant external rear lights, they are on the same fuse as the interior lights

ah yes. I've lost all rear light too.

I've also think I may of put a fuse back in the wrong slot as my central locking isn't working. It so hard to get my fat fingers in there

All sorted.

Disconnecting the battery for a minute solved the interior lights issue. And my fat fingers putting fuse 42 back in caused by central locking to not work.
