Interior Light Stays On When The Sliding Door Is Open

The plug itself is shaped to stop it being plugged in incorrectly, and should be wired like this:

1 - brown with red trace.
2 - red with black trace.
3 - brown.

Ah, yes Martyn will suss it. Maybe it’s been wired differently under the dash?

Middle should be off,
left should be constantly on,
right should be door open:

It's to the left for the door open. As your pic shows.

the interior light in the front cab stays on permanently if I have the sliding door open. Is this correct ? if i'm on a camp site for example and were relaxing with the sliding door open its annoying that the light stays on all the time. If I close the sliding door then the light goes off. Surely this is not correct ?

Hello mate . This issue has been wrecking my brain recently . I’ve noticed when the sliding door is open the vanity lights stay on (longest I’ve tested it is for 1 hour +) but when the barn doors are open it times out after about 2 mins . The sliding door is really annoying as it plays on your mind if the battery will run flat or not . Anybody shine more light on this? (Sorry about the pun)
