Interior rear light; what does this button do?

Help; what does this button do?



2021, T6.1 - can anybody share an image of where the rear light that this button controls is/was located?

Mine is already converted (and missing the light) but I'm wondering if I can pick up the wiring and putting in some ambient lighting - maybe easier to go from the switch...

It controls the two standard lights in the rear roof, the front one (that would be over the rear seats in a kombi) is right of centre and the rear most one is left of centre

The wiring to these two lights runs through the roof front to back on the passenger side with the main loom
