Has anyone installed a switch to control the internal lighting to prevent it coming on every time you open the rear door, to prevent the starter battery being used when parked up?

Depending on what flavour of T6 you have, it is almost certain you have LED interior lights which use almost no power...

Agreed, I did get an issue with a flat battery the first time I used it, I have since replaced the batteries. But I would also like to be able to turn off the lights so when we open the door at night the lights don’t come on. It’s a

That would be easy, but mine are built in LEDs which give my wife retina burn when I open the door in the middle of the night!
We get that too from the internal LEDs, so have a small black piece of material over them, secured with a magnet. Cheap and cheerful.
