inverter stopped working confusion?

Please bear with me please.
I bought the van with the electrics already done, it has a "fogstar drift 105ah lithium battery", and from what i can tell it's a "TTNergy dc 2dc charger"
but i did install myself a "Renogy 1000W inverter" direct to the leisure battery via a 150amp fuse/trip.
So all used to work fine until now, i,m pretty sure i never needed the ignition on to run any of the electrics but do now? (but i could be wrong as i don't use it much)
any how when i flick the fuse/trip for the 12v lights etc in the back all works fine, untill flick the swtich for the inverter, which cut's the power from the battery and a warniing light comes on the dc 2 dc charger, im assuming the inverter maybe at fault, but what puzzles me is how can the leisure battery cut the power until i switch the ignition off and on again?

What state of charge is your battery at? If it's low then the inverter when powering on has a high inrush current to fill the capacitors, that can cause the battery voltage to drop which would trigger some alarms/cut offs on the battery etc.

Nothing it was something like 0.3v at the fuse, trip with a multi meter, it's almost like the battery has a safety cut off or something?

Yes! - The battery has a safety cut off.

The Fogstar 105Ah battery has overcurrent protection and the maximum discharge current is 100A- So the battery BMS will probably cut the output if you try exceeding this.
The Renogy doesn't seem to spec its maximum in-rush current - just seems to say fit 150A fuse on the 12V wiring. - But why it used to work and doesn't now? don't know, but could be temperature related - even at 8C
