Iphone Interference?

I have an Iphone (13pro). Keep getting complaints from some callers of background noise described as similar to a motorbike in the background or even a frog lol when on hands free through the van.

Have it on a vent mount with vent closed off.

when start/stop kicks in the interference stops so suggests something from engine running could be causing the interference.

anyone had similar issues or thoughts on suppression etc.

not all calls and not all of the time so could be signal strength related but just found it strange that interference was only there when the engine was running

perhaps it's just some people don't want to talk to me

Probably the alt. Are you wired or wireless to the HU? If wired a shielded cable may help.

Yes on older vehicles it was usually the alternators but on a modern VW I would of thought suppression etc was a given

maybe something or nothing but did seem regular when on calls to my son for some reason, like I said maybe an excuse not to listen to his dad lol
