Is £450 expensive for a fitted Kombi ply floor?

Long story short, not many convertors local that do less than full conversions.

Found a place not too far away recommended by a company I have recently bought from. They quoted me £450 for supply and fit of a one piece 12mm ply floor with my choice of Altro Safety flooring.

I've been quoted just over £150 for a bare one piece 12mm floor and haven't checked the price of the floor covering, but this seems expensive to me.

Is it expensive or am I just a stereotypical tight Scotsman?

9mm oak floor from Van furniture is £175 cut and ready to install. Not sure if that helps

All depends, will the floor be battened, insulated, sound deadened, are they using good quality ply, etc? If so, then it sounds reasonable to me. There’s probably a couple of hundred quids worth of materials (which have shot up in price) and a good days labour (try finding a decent craftsman at short notice)

Where did you find a 12mm 1 piece ply floor for £150 please.

In my works Transit I bought a sheet of 12mm ply 3050mm x 1525mm
Finishing ply £80
Altro inc glue £60.
3 hours work.

Seems like it's not unreasonable pricing.

I'll make a call later today to check about the raising of the floor with batons and check about the sound deadening & insulation as mentioned above.

Thanks for all the replies folks.

If that includes sound ddeadening/insulation then I’d say £450 is a good price. I paid £270 in materials, inc CNCd floor from Eclipse, and fitted myself. That was 5 months back though, the price of materials has gone up.
