Is it too early for MY18 T6's?

I picked my T6 up on Monday, in the PDI checklist it is listed as a MY2018. Can this be correct? I thought the MY18 wouldn't be seen until September onwards.

Agreed they are only just building them now...

MY18 are already at the dealers, they build some before the date, ready for the switchover. Not many, but they are out there

Mine only landed in the UK on the 28/6 so I have no clue, how could I tell if it is? Not that it bothers me in the least, it's just that when I sell it I'd like to advertise it correctly.
On the VW paperwork it says MY18 which was unexpected, I'll do some more digging around at some point to find out.

Autonomous braking is a standard feature on 2018 models....so unless you coughed up extra for it as an option, you have a 2018 MY van.

I did pay for the auto braking and I queried this with the dealer.
Surely I was due £200 back? He told me that it was ordered and paid for as a 2017 and they have no control over what model year arrives when the changeover is so close.
He also pointed out that this van has not had the June price increase which if it had, would of been greater than the £200!
I got 18% discount off the van so I can't complain too much.

The deal was done through a 'broker' but I picked it up from the dealer just the same as I always have with the other VW's I've bought.
Except this time I got one for a really good deal.

I have no idea! I haven't even tried to test the city braking yet as I haven't got the balls!! I'm sure the wife will test it out soon enough.
