Is my Audison bit one bricked?

Appreciate any advice - I’m a bit worried my Audison Bit One virtuoso has packed up.

- Fuse in the unit is ok
- Fuse on the power feed is ok - and there’s definitely power there
- The DRC turns on fine, reports no device found
- if I disconnect the DRC network cable from the unit and reconnect it - the DRC starts up
- if I disconnect the power and remote-on terminal block on the bit one and plug it back in - the amps briefly get power

As far as I know nothing has changed, it’s not been removed / reinstalled / relocated or knocked - and the system is behind a panel so it’s physically protected.

Appreciate any help or ideas for testing you guys/girls might have - cheers

If you plug a laptop in do you get Comms?

Is the remote cable OK? I.e. the one usually attached to ign+ that gives it the signal to power up?

If that’s taken from piggyback fuse, maybe the fuse for that?

Cheers for your replies.

Amps and processor are powered from a leisure battery - so none of this is wired to the ignition.

DRC power switch turns on the processor, remote on triggers the amps - and there’s a Bluetooth receiver feeding the processor.

Laptop…it’s not finding the unit via USB - feels like the unit is knackered :-/

Just to clarify what I meant:

Yours may well be set up differently. Mine is powered by the leisure battery but is set to only power up when ignition is at first stage i.e. no crank.

There are two ways from memory to get the unit to power up when ignition is on (IGN+) - one was by connecting to the IGN+ of the vehicle’s power system, the other was by using the remote signal from the head unit.

Think that’s cable 3 on this diagram.

Might be worth seeing if you get 12v on that cable when ignition is on.
