Is My Headunit Faulty Or Is It Operator Error?

Hi Everyone

Quick question as I've found no information via searches. I have the app connect/nav headunit in my T6.

I can listen to music fine when connecting my iphone to the headunit via the associated lead or bluetooth.

The problem is is when I've taken a call (handsfree) the music shows as still playing but with no volume.

When I adjust the volume is turns up the telephone volume. I seems that the head unit is not clearing down the phone call once the call has been disconnected!

(music volume shows as a red bar on the head unit while telephone volume shows as a green bar)

Anyone else experienced that?

I have same headunit and find the volume control will adjust whatever is active at the time ie if nav is talking it will adjust nav volume and if on phone it will adjust phone volume but it always switches back to radio/radio volume the second the phone call disconnects so not sure why yours isn’t

First thing I would try is a reboot of the headunit, just hold the power button in for circa 30 secs and you should see it go off and come back on again

Cheers Pauly, will try that next time. I spoke to VW who suggest it's probably a faulty unit so if your fix doesn't fix it then it's back to the dealership.

I have had exactly the same problem, I think its a bug and not releasing the call.
