Is the T6.1 reversing camera quite poor?

Hi all

I got my new van yesterday and they fitted the reversing camera at the dealership after it was missed off the factory build (along with the LEDs..)

I’ve driven another T6.1 recently and I thought the reversing camera quality was good i.e. I didn’t pay it any attention as it was super clear, but that was the larger touchscreen Discovery display option without any push buttons (or whatever it’s called, the one up from mine anyway)

Mine is very grainy and you can see the pixels moving about. Is this normal?!

Is the protective film still over the camera lens? - that's what it looks like to me.

I don’t think so no. Would you say your camera looks better quality than this then?

I was reassured it was genuine VW fitted at the dealer.

I have a rear view camera fitted inside the nearside rear door not a reversing camera but mine is clearer than that.
