Hi folks

I'm planning to replace my T6.1 factory split charge relay with an Orion XS DC to DC this week. Just waiting for a few items to arrive and will make a start later this week. I had a quick look for the easiest isolate the engine battery from the split charge relay. Is it possible to disconnect at the fusebox (top of the photo here) to save having to completely disconnect the engine battery? Thanks1000021367.jpg

There is an existed link which comes from the fuse box underneath the battery that goes into the seat base. The split charge relays located in the seat base. So you can take your feed for your Orion excess from that point and just remove the factory split charge relay unit.

Post some pictures of the electricals underneath the passenger seat base.

I've got the standard T6.1 (2021) factory leisure setup under the passenger seat base, picture below. Varta 75Ah AGM battery but want to be ready for a swap to lithium when the AGM dies.

My plan is to pretty much copy this install with the exception that I'm going with the Orion XS (downrating the max current) instead of the CTEK...

My question was about what's the easiest was to isolate the starter battery feed into the seat base and is it possible without having to disconnect the starter battery. Thanks!
