Hi everyone,
I've been looking at a T6 for a while now and I even managed to borrow a Kombi 204 manual for a week from my local dealer to make sure I really wanted to go from a 2015 Toureg to a van, albeit a rather nice van.
I was surprised at how well the van drove, things have moved on massively since my last Transporter test drive.
I'm thinking of having a 50/50 van, 50% for me and 50% for the family.
So a van with most of the Sportline extras, but also with sleeping facilities for 4.
I don't want to break £49,995 inc vat, so I'm hoping to get a Highline with the following extras -
Met paint £550
Nav £900
App connect £130
Carpet in cab £75
Heated seats £255
Led front/rear lamps £1415
Parking sensors and camera
Folding mirrors £265
Comfort dash £440
Adaptive cruise £665
Composite media £345
The van and the factory options come to £31,760 +vat which includes a £6.5k allowance (we lease a few vans from them already hence the discount)
The Wessex Vans Sports conversion is circa £7k, so plus £31,760 = £38,760 +vat £46,500ish
There's also delivery and tax that puts another £1k on top as well.
So, now there's not enough budget left for a full width Reimo bed and Reimo pop top at around £7.5k for the pair.
Firstly, do those prices sound decent and what would you trim from the options to get me under the budget?
Have I picked the best options, do I need nav and composite media for instance?
Appreciate any help in advance.
