Hi,
I have a t6 2019 with non genuine projector headlights fitted, it also has DRL in the bumper as well as each headlight. I'm unsure on the brand as they came on the van when I got it. Fairly recently, I took the van into VW for a washer bottle, under extended warranty. When I picked it up, driving home the bulb warning light came on indicating a bulb is out, when I got home I checked all the bulbs and they were fine. I checked for DTCs with carista and got "00978 left low beam headlamp bulb: open/ short circuit to B+". After VW messed me about horrifically and the fact the lights aren't standard, I couldnt be bothered trying to take it back to them, I just assumed there's a loose connection somewhere as it worked before I took it, and as the washer bottle is on the left side I gather they may have removed or disconnected the light.
I looked over it today, I didn't have time to take the light fully out or anything, but disconnected the main light connector, cleaned it and reconnected but doesn't appear to resolved it.
But like I said, all the lights work perfectly fine. Is this a known problem? or any ideas where I could check next?
Thanks in advance.
