I’ve bought the JVC head unit to replace the stock one that came in the van so I could use Apple CarPlay. I ordered a kit of eBay which came with a 42cx401 can interface. The JVC unit has a remo in via a 3.2mm jack.
Everything seems to work but the steering controls. I’ve followed the manuals I’ve found online and set interface switches to on/on/on (tried other combinations I found online) and connected the red and white wires as instructed for the 42arc104 steering wheel interface. I’ve attached pictures of the wiring I’ve done and the can bus.
Has anyone used this combination before and got it to work?
