Kenwood DAB - BAD

Hi All,

Fitted a DNX9190DABS in the van, all works fine but the DAB signal is poor.
Its plugged in using the factory DAB aerial, using the Kenwood adapter but the signal is very intermittent.

Any idea?

The dab aerial is in the near side wing mirror. I have the same headunit, but never listen to dab radio because in my area (Dorset) it’s crap, even when I put an exterior dab aerial on. Is the reception worse now than before? Do you use any kind of 12v charger or dash cam as they are known to kill dab reception.

DAB was perfect, only the Headunit has changed, I'm wondering if it's plugged into the FM and i dont seem to see FM option.

The dab and fm connectors are different aren’t they? @Absolut5 will know.

Fm is twin white connection, Dab is single black, check the very fine thin pin in the adapter is not pushed to one side

I’ve had 3x Transporters all with factory dab, and not one has been any good, I listen to fm or Radioplayer in my T6.1
