Kenwood head unit repair?

Hi All -

I got a bargain kenwood dnx9190dabs off facebook market place, but over time i've realised why!

the home button doesn't work at all any more, and only a few colours of the back lights work, red is completely gone, very frustrating!

has anyone had any experience posting it off to someone for it to have a good once over? also will the van run fine without one whilst it is away?

I've used these for a warranty Kenwood repair in the past. Your van will run fine without the headunit.

Definitely Fullers as @Deaky mentioned, very odd the Kenwood has a issue as that model is bullet proof

All sorted now!

Bob at Fullers is great, very helpful, it turns out the reason it was a bargain headunit was because the previous owner had spilled some liquid into it, causing corrosion on a board.

Posted on Tuesday 3rd and it arrived back on Thursday 12th. £117 including vat and return postage for the repair so its still worked out as a bargain headunit.
