Kiravans double swivel base refurb?

Hi all, I've recently purchased a used Kiravans double seat swivel base and the white slip surface is covered in dirt and scratches.

I messaged Kiravan to see if they had a refurb kit available and of course they don't!

I'm assuming that this white layer is a ptfe type material, would it be worth replacing it like for like?

Only issue really is that the ptfe sheet isn't cheap but I'd like to see if it's possible to refurbish it.

Just curious if you ever got a fix for this....mines looks like it needs a skim of the top. Guessing everyone's goes like this eventually.
