Knocking Noise on Cold Start

Hey guys,

Any ideas on the issue here?

I have this knocking/rumbling noise, which occurs for about 4 to 5-mins on a cold start, then goes away.

The noise also stops when dipping the clutch and then comes back when taking foot off.

No further issues/noise, once engine is warm and driving.

That’s the flywheel, quite common.

Good update, interesting to see your experiences with the van and also the dealer. Mine’s had the front crank seal and also a new instrument cluster, both under warranty and that’s it until last week when Kartechnic found an oil leak (not crank seal again, it’s higher up) and quoted £750ish to...
