Hi,
I’m in the planning stage of making a timber kombi bed base - long term plans for the van could change so I need something cheap, useable and not too cumbersome to store. I’m thinking of emulating a typical wooden bed frame with bolt in legs.
For those of you that have purchased official kombi bed bases I wondered if you could measure the thickness of the ply board top?
I’m currently looking at 12mm ply as I can get it in a size which means I can have a 1 piece bed base. If this is suitable I’d be looking to sell the other half of the 3050 x 1525 sheet (10’ x 5’ - full sheet is £50)
Any help / suggestions greatly appreciated.
