Found Kombi Bulkhead

anyone got a motexion bulk head for behind the rear seats in a kombi? Twin slider?

There's isn't a specific twin slider version I don't think. Normally modify a single slider to fit.

Yes there definitely is I’ve got one in my kombi well worth it!

Motexion do make a twin slider version but i believe VW only supply the single door version, twin door version has to be supplied from elsewhere

I have a brand new one, arrived this week, been trying to fit it all day but its just too big to fit in the van (brand new t6). I even took out the headlining and took it to a camper guy who agreed with me it will damage any headlining and its even marked the metal near the roof trying to force it in, and its still in my garage!

It cost £420 delivered and is a nice thing, just 2 cm too big......

As mine has been carpet lined I know it won’t fit and I hope I can trim it to fit hence why I don’t wanna buy new lol

Ok, it won't trim the strength is in the angle, and you would need to trim that off, also you would have nothing at the top to fix through so need an angle bracket etc.

I think I am going to make one out of ply if I can't get this to fit.

They are a very tight fit I only just manage to fit mine, well worth the effort though

Thanks, how did you get it to fit?

I have measured the bulkhead and it's 56" in the center and my van is 1.5" smaller, also the same 1.5" difference at the sides. I haven't taken the floor out (this is a good 3/4 inch) and have ply lined the roof but that only adds 10mm.

I understand it may fit inion an angle, but I am worried about cracking the bulkhead and also damaging my brand new headlining (which went really well).

I have considered making one but not sure if I can get it to look as good.

Hi, sorry slow reply wife had misplaced my tape, it measures 53.25 inches or 135 CM as near as I can measure with the curve, I bought it from fleabay the description said from twin slider t6 and looking at it both sides look the same so would say that it was correct, I ended up with a single slider one and cut to fit as needed in a hurry, Yes would sell it if your interested, pm me

I have one that came with my 2017 twin slider, fitted by VW dealer from new & removed by me a week after i received the van, been stored ever since. I'm based in Sheffield & Twickenham (& anywhere near the M1 or A1)
