Company up Scotland scotdubz did a fantastic job can’t fault the work done.
He informed me the interior metal around the sliding door window can not be carpeted as the damp and or water would be drawn in from the carpet. The question I have is what other people have to make this look any better? I thought about a wrap around it, because when Vw put the panel kit in they screwed it through the metal lip and now the holes are on show. Thanks.

Have a look at this thread Ross - the window surrounds will need a bit of work to get the aperture to sit tight, but it’s not impossible.

Theres loads you you could do there.

Get on ebay and bag yourself some matt black offcuts of vinyl vehicle wrap and put a bit of that all the way along it.

It will actually protect the paintwork against scuffs from passengers leaning on it. ( it'll be similar to the scuff protectors on your door sills ).
