kombi seat function

The rear seat in my kombi
Am i right in saying itll fold forward or simply come straight out ?
They dont fold out backwards flat do they ?
I ask as there is aplethora of gubbins under the seat and a footbar as well as various pull tabs and i pulled a couple of the loops and struggled to get it refitted
I actually had to laugh at myself - so i thought id ask before i tackle it again

Kiravans have a very useful youtube video showing you how to remove the seats.......far better than reading the manual.
