Kombi to the rescue

[CRD]

Driving back from work today, came across 3 swans waddling along a country road up to a blind crest . I had visions of a car coming from the other direction running right over the top of them.
I pulled up behind them and put on my hazards and a car coming from the other direction did the same.
Between the 2 of us, we manage to get Mum and chick in the back of my van, and he took Dad!
Drove them to a nearby reservoir and released them to live another day

Were making a surprising lot of noise for so-called Mute swans. They thanked me in the only way they could- thank heavens for the rubber flooring!

yep, lucky they didn't break both your arms and drown your dog, all at the same time. Or are those urban myths/olds wives tales?
Saving little animals/birds makes you feel better about all the Polar bears you are killing by not driving a petrol hybrid Well Done
