Thinking of trying, it on a camper floor anyone got any pics or advice thanks

A big thing to look at is if the base of the flooring is not MDF, this product is heavy, even the moisture resistant versions are poor at not swelling over time.

They are quite restrictive on how you can clean it, id personally look else where.

I've had it in a few houses I've brought, the laminate is quite tough, but the joins to the sub structure are the weak part.

I've also currently trying out a timber veneered engineered floor on plywood in an apartment and that has its issues as well, being replaced again in the near future.

You can't go wrong with a wood grained commercial Lino/Vinyl, easy to lay, easy to clean.

Our builder friend came round last week and showed us some click together vinyl floor that looked just like normal laminate and even clicked together the same showing the grooved joint etc. Think it was from Howdens? Maybe worth a look?? Fully washable and might weigh less? Thinking of it for our utility room.

Quick, hide this thread before @Fish sees it. It’ll topple him!:eek:

My thoughts;
1. Laminates are prone to chips, scratches.. water damage, and difficult to colour match.
3. have very little thermal value. Cold to touch even on warm days.
2. Weight.
4. Be difficult to cut nice due to compound corners and curves.
4. Thickness vrs step levels need to be considered.
7. Cost.
