LED DRL and reverse lights - legal?

Hi, i am new to this, but here goes. Have bought a 16 plate T6 panel van for conversion. That will be done in November. I want to upgrade the lights. Starting with reverse lights and the DRL. When i look at LEDs for the reverse it says that they don't fit my vehicle. The DRL . Apparantley the LED fit for these is only for off road use and will invalidate my insurance if fitted. Is this right?. Or is my vehicle to new yet. Thanks.

All aftermarket LED bulbs used for external lighting is illegal I believe as the bulbs won’t carry the correct markings.
That’s said they do look loads better than the standard bulbs.

There Is loads of info on this site about lighting as the standard H4 are awful. Grab a brew and some biscuits and start trawling the lighting section or use the search button.
