Leisure Battery Fitting in Yorkshire

Hi folks.
We are about to purchase a new T6 LWB 199PS 4 motion van. We tow a caravan as well as using the van for work purposes (I’m an electrician). I intend to fit an Eberspacher night heater, work lights and other electrical equipment in the back. Can you recommend any auto electricians in the North of England who are familiar with or specialise in Transporters (I live in the Skipton area).

Hi all. Just starting out on a day van/part time camper journey. Have built some prototypes of removable bed/bench set up for my T6 Shuttle. Looking at getting a leisure battery fitted and possibly a solar panel on the roof. I’m no electrician so hoping for any recommendations for someone local to Sheffield who can help with sourcing and fitting. Thanks.

Hi. Had a change of plans for a range of reasons but not before I spoke to Phil at Contact Lazy Leisure Campers who were recommended to me. He seemed to know what he was talking about and had plans not changed, I would have sent it there for work.

Just after the battery a couple of 12v outlets, existing rear spots linking to it with a switch and the ability to plug it into the main at home to charge. Not fussed for the electric hook up or inverter etc.

AusTops / Bus Stop VW / Exploria / Jaibow / NotJustCampers / Snug Campers / Status 1 / 8 Ball Campers / Camper Vandals / Lazy Leisure Campers are all, according to what I’ve read on this forum, Yorkshire based.

You’ll probably find that most members have fitted their own, hence there not being a great response.

I think most people either DIY or use the search function. It’s not an uncommon question.
