I’m about to return my second set, they don’t seem to cope well with salty roads.both sets lasted about 9 months.

Perhaps it’s a quality control issue, or just budget items.
I’m pretty hot on keeping the van clean and hosing salt off after use but it’s not always possible.

Mine went exactly the same and the are the same make and style as yours. The supplier blamed the salt, I've only had it since last July and it doesn't go anywhere in the winter. The suppliers partner got onto the company he got them from and they said pick some new. I got a different style not diamond cut and they even gave me new tyres. I think its the sharp edges, my new wheels seem more finished on the edges.
I was told to keep away from diamond cut. My son in law has Calibre non diamond cut and his are fine.
Don't forget you should have a 12 month guarantee with them.

It's just the design of the wheel, regardless on which end of the pricing scale you choose.
I've owned budget polished wheels, high end polished wheels, and genuine polished wheels, and not one set lasted, the worst were the high end ones I got from the States. When I complained to the company that they'd only lasted 3 months before they started to 'worm' the company was pretty clear with their response: 'Diamond cut or polished wheels are not designed to be used in countries where winters are harsh, and salt was a big part of road clearance'

I think it's simply down to the fact you just cannot get a good build up of lacquer on the edges of the spokes, leaving them prone to chipping, then allowing water to penetrate.
Personally I do like the look of polished faces, but I won't buy any more.
If they are happy to replace them, then opt for a full colour, or the next set will only do the same.
